If you’re taking the time to read this… the answer is probably "yes."
I knew in my mid 20’s that I wanted to eventually get Botox. As my husband says, I have a “very expressive face”. Whatever that means. Well after 30 years of being “expressive”, I started to really see the wrinkles forming. I had some pretty intense dynamic wrinkles (lines that form when moving your facial muscles), and even some static wrinkles (wrinkles that are visible at rest).
The day I finished breastfeeding my daughter I scheduled the appointment. It was my “treat yo’ self” moment. I got my 11’s (lines between the brows) and my forehead lines treated. Two weeks later it kicked in… and I was hooked. My confidence level went from avoiding mirrors to starting to feel like myself again.
People are starting to use Botox younger and younger. Why? The goal is two fold: treat the lines that are already there, and prevent them from getting worse or new lines from forming. More on the specifics of how that works in another post.
All that to say…
If you’re 25 and want to stay looking 25… it's time for Botox.
If you’re 35 and want to look 25… it's time for Botox. And probably some fillers.
